Our annual SOS Day will be held on Sunday 30th April!
Starting 11am until 5pm, followed by the annual blessing of the Lifeboat at 6pm!
Cowes Lifeboat Station, Watch House Lane, Cowes, PO31 7QH.
Free entry for a fun filled day and an opportunity to meet representatives of the emergency services including Fire, Coast Guard, Ambulance, Coast Watch, Police as well as the volunteers of the RNLI and some Independent Lifeboats.
Many activities for children and adults including story telling, quizzes, water safety advice, music by Guith outside the Globe Bar and the ice cream boat on Trinity landing. Refreshents and cakes supplied by the RNLI Cowes Guild.
At 6pm join us on the Parade where Rev Andrew Poppe, Father Jonathon Redvers-Harris and Rev Francis Thomas will be holding an ecumenical service to bless the start of the sailing season supported by the Salvation Army Band. Free moorings for your boat on Trinity Landing for the duration of the service. Rev Poppe will be rededicating our Lifeboat Sheena Louise after her first refit.
