Updated Sunday 5th April 2020
All RNLI lifeboat stations are now closed to the public. We remain operational and will continue to respond to calls for help.
This does mean that all visits to the station have been cancelled and we will not be accepting visit requests for the time being.
We have also made the decision to suspend all activity at the station, with the exception of responding to emergency callouts, therefore all our crew nights, events and exercises are cancelled for the foreseeable future.
Training is being carried out virtually, through online facilities and will continue to do so until further notice.
We have been issued guidance by RNLI headquarters and will be following new procedures closely to protect our casualties, crew and their families.
Our mechanics are still keeping Sheena Louise in tip top condition, should she need to be used. We are also monitoring our email account and social media channels – f you have any questions, queries or concerns, please email us: Cowes@rnli.org.uk
We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
The Cowes Crew.
