Andrew joined the station towards the end of 2015, after he was asked to become the Chaplain of Cowes Lifeboat Station. His job is the Vicar of Cowes, a post which he took up at the beginning of 2015, after moving to the island from Salisbury Diocese – prior to the ordination he spent 25 years as a Commissioned Officer in the RAF Logistics Branch. Andrew is married to Sarah, who have three children together that have all left home! He enjoys painting oils and water colour, sailing and small woodwork, and as one of four brothers who sail, ‘being Chaplain to Cowes RNLI is a privilege and just a little I can give back for the protection they offer all who use the sea’.
