 Welcome to the website of

Cowes Lifeboat Station.

We are the charity that saves lives at sea. This site is our way of thanking, informing and updating all of our supporters, whose generosity makes our work possible.

Cowes Lifeboat is one of the dedicated Search and Rescue (SAR) resources for The Solent, that covers the area between Yarmouth and Ryde; these are approximate bounds, dependent on tidal conditions and other SAR resources, Cowes Lifeboat has been deployed outside these bounds but its work is largely carried out well within them.

If you would like to see Sheena Louise launch, she can usually be seen travelling down the slip way on an exercise every Thursday at around 1930. Other exercises are published on the news scroll on the right hand side of the homepage.
